Mission #3: The Poster A - The Legend of Davy Crockett
The theatrical one-sheet for The Legend of Davy Crockett features Ty Olsson as Davy, with our completely redesigned famous uniform. Marketing for the film can and should embrace the iconic Raccoon Fur hat, however Davy rarely wears the hat in the movie. Instead, Davy's hat of choice is a precursor to the cowboy hat and fedora, known as a 'Quaker' hat. The trailer and the poster evoke a darker, more serious Davy Crockett, but the film has a lot of comedy in it too.

The teaser poster for The Legend of Davy Crockett is a statement. One look at the poster and the tagline, and audiences young and old will understand the premise, and that is the true power of a brand name. Winter also plays an important role in our story, so the poster is teasing the return of an icon and the plot and location of the climax in the film.

    Poster A is definitely the best. The text on poster B looks like it's for a cartoon or something. The title text on Poster A could also be better...the font and color are a bit cheesy.

    Pretty awesome in achieving the TOP30 !!! Loved poster B as the title...."The Legend Returns" is catchy, and we all know who that "coonskin" hat....belongs to !!! You are in my TOP15, so I expect to see you in the CineCoup TOP15 as well !!! #KennyG

    Love both posters. B looks more for the younger market (early teens, tweens and every other word for that generation) while poster A looks more zombified. Too much of that going around...
    then again I am looking at this in my phone
