I was really excited until the end of the trailer. SCAM seemed like it was going to be a great new twist on the crime/con man flick but now it looks like it's just another overused hostage thriller.

This is very interesting! I like the story, but I the project appears to be focused on the gritty suspense and violence, rather than being a character study on the scammer. I believe more time within the character's personal journey can make this very engaging, compared to a heavily plot driven suspense and action film.

Done well and put together mighty fine. Just don't know if that ole man has the stamina and endurance to torture that scammer up to the standards that he deserves. I like this. I think it brings awareness to this issue plus it is entertaining. From the trailer I already can relate to the scammer being a regular Joe with a family maybe he was pushed to do something not necessarily in his character...and being a person who may get scammed whether I am a senior or not. At the end who do you want to win the scammer or the initial victim? Love the twist want to know what happens. However, concept maybe more of a made for a TV movie. It might be hard to draw a large audience given that I don't know a lot of seniors who go to movies or I don't know if a lot of young people who would explore this topic. Could be wrong though! Good Luck.

This was one of the more original film ideas. Although the idea takes from real life I have yet to see it made into a movie or any media for that matter. However as the trailer, at its current form, seems better suited for a web series than a feature length film. A main reason would be the lack of plot the trailer gives, scam artist being punished by those who he scammed. Had there been some kind of a hook towards the end other than the scammer being punished than I could judge this film differently. Although it is one of the films with better cinematography it still lacks the necessary plot to make this worth of feature film status.

A colleague of mine got caught in a '419' scam. He lost everything to it, including company pension funds. Tragically, he could see only one way out and the world is worse for it.

Of all the movies in the top 10, this one can save lives.

The producers have done an excellent job with the script and the quality of the production. The work is great and the story, told from both sides, is compelling. The BeExpanding mission was by far the best one yet and shows that the film has huge potential in the TV market as a series.

My Official Review of Scam The Movie :

I can real relate to this Crime Suspense Film,as a couple of family friends have been victims of "marketing scams".

I can see the twist of revenge from one of the victims where the "scammer" had thought he was going to be a easily prey.

This story should shake the community into taking "scams" into serious consideration.

Just maybe something will be done about it.

I'm eager to see Scam The Movie among the Top 5 Picks at the Banff Media Festival in June 2013.

An very important story-line to be told to the world.

Holy crap! This was awesome! I'm booking a sitter now to go to the theatre! I totally want to see the rest. The narration was great, the build up was great, you really get a sense that these guys are dirtbags, then POW! The guys tied up and we need to know what happens next. This was very well done indeed, and will certainly get my vote when the time comes. Best I've seen so far in this race.

Sounds like "Identity Theif". But hey, if they're killing telemarketer scam artists, it can't be all bad.

Looks Like an interesting premise for a movie. It deals with a real problem in society. Perhaps, the violence might detract from the pleasure of the film.

Trailer looks great - I'm finding a lot of these trailers look like they're for TV series instead of movies. This one doesn't make that mistake. Good acting and the trailer was well laid out. And a great hook at the end.

The scams are lame and a film about them is even more so. If only you hammed it up more to a Grindhouse level then it might be better.
Also was anyone of the creatives on this project recently victims of a phone scam? I sense some resentment...
