You had me at 90's, and lost me at hip-hopera. But that's just me. Soundtrack was good, and story looks solid.

The soundtrack works, and the setting is gritty and realistic. The characters do not seem to have much depth, and I do not get a good sense of the story. There is enough to make me curious, though.

Good social commentary, like the atmosphere. Characters seem promising. Nice retro feel - kind of Spike Lee vibe.

You had me at hip-hopera! But seriously, well done trailer. Full of emotion and conveyed really well. Plus that young boy is so engaging right from the get go. Break a leg.

This seems like an interesting idea. Very original with the hop hop musical. I just hope it's more get rich or die trying than the sound of music
