Fantome Avatar

Fantome

Everyone in Val Jalbert knows Arianne is haunted...except for her.

Mission #3: Poster

Congrats Top 15!
Mission #3: The Poster A - Fantome
Pray you don't end up in Val Jalbert.

Designed by Erika Madsen. This poster was designed to be a call-back to old-school, minimalist horror movie posters from the 70's and 80's, namely Halloween and The Omen.
Mission #3: The Poster B - Fantome
The past isn't the only thing haunting her.

Designed by Alexia Boucher. This poster was inspired by the hand-drawn aesthetics of a Drew Struzan poster but updated to feel more contemporary and expressionist.

The image of a solitary figure walking into the woods resonates so strongly. Walking, quiet, alone...or are we? We've all felt it, or imagined it, maybe dreamed it.

I like the second poster better. I suppose the film will have a very similar mood to the one in that poster.

The second one gives me the shivers and has me wondering what will happen. The first one seems a little more confusing.

Both posters are well thought out however, I must say that poster B is my favourite. I find it capture the feel as the trailer.

My choice is Poster B. Love the forest and. the eeriness of walking through it and not knowing what waits for you deep inside the woods

Love the use of light in both posters but poster B appeals to me more. Leaves more to the imagination...
