Synopsis

A team of scientists are hunted down one by one by a hulking beast that has gone by many names over the years. The ancient evil is savage and ruthless in its pursuit in purging the trespassers from its land. The routine environmental pipeline assessment of the remote forested area known as Black Land by local First Nations becomes a horror filled assessment in survival.
The team must survive the creatures relentless pursuit through the Black Land.

Black Land will have you rethinking that trip into the woods.

Adam Dent

Adam's first feature film "THIRTY-ONE Scenes About Nothing".
Won Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor & Best Cinematography @ the 2014 Oregon Independent Film Festival.
He was writer, producer, director and editor.
The film was made on a shoestring budget of $60, 000.
His first short "Badside" won Rising Star Award @ 2011 CIFF for Directing.

Shaine Jones

Shaine has spent over 15 years in the film industry here in Vancouver. The bulk of that time has been spent in front of the camera, where you can find him acting in commercials, TV shows and movies. Along the way he has developed a strong desire in making his own projects and trying his hand behind the camera.

Nick has spent the majority of the past ten years in the independent film world. He has worked both behind the camera doing behind the scenes work, sound, writing and camera work, as well as several acting rolls in shorts and features across Canada.
