I really like the question it poses... would you be proud of your life? Would you feel that humanity as we know it is safe due to your well lived life? If that deeper question, and the ideas it evokes is brought out in this film it would touch people AND humor them too! The trailer made it seem more like a hangover movie though. I believe a balance can be struck between humor and heart to make it twice as great!

I approached rating this trailer like I would caribou beer. Anything past 5 or 6 and I'm starting to look kinda silly. The only laugh I had was the scene in the doctors office. I'd be more apt to sit through an AA meeting before sitting through this one. 5 anal probes out of 10.

I don't really get the alien, the costume or the main character. He doesn't seem like a very smart alien. Is there supposed to be some sort of relationship between the alien and the man that bonds them (like an ET thing)? I would think an alien could get out of chair ties. I get this is a comedy but it seems kinda childish and I guess it isn't my thing. Note I did enjoy Borat and Team America... so I'm not totally a stick n the mud!

Alien Abduction, its crazy, its funny, its enjoyable, and its the same plot as Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. Alien comes to earth to study humans and judge their worth before their overlords destroy the planet. Okay well its not exactly the same as Hitchhikers but that is what comes to mind when I watch this trailer. The costume is silly and that's definitely the feel you’re going for but is it the feel that Canadians and the world wants to see? In my personal opinion your winning poster was offensive and even though it was picked by fans it would never show up outside a Cineplex theatre. Perhaps your impertinent film style and fans will propel you into the top 5 however it is my guess that this film has little chance of becoming the number 1.

This trailer has some really hilarious moments in it and I can see the potential for an amazingly funny comedy. However, in it's current state, I feel like it definitely could use some tweaking with respect to the cinematography, the music editing, and some of the scene selections. I also felt like it was a little on the short side and would have liked to seen a little more hilarity. I did enjoy how you started this trailer and how you ended it - those scenes I would not alter - except that little flash of scenes toward the end that just recapped the hitting him over the head scene, I didn't find it necessary to see it again - just felt a little like unnecessary filler.

A completely absurdist escape from reality...or is it? Regarless of if you believe in aliens visiting us or not, this movie takes the best parts of a revenge movie, a sitcom, and a campy 80's movie and puts it together in a way that is clean and funny.

The missions have all been well executed and I think this had a good chance of being a solid Canadian hit.

Hilarious - love it! Here's my Official CineCoup Review of Alien Abduction : A comical story about an visiting Alien becoming abducted by slacker Dave Duberinski. The fun fact of how the Human Race is being Judged will now depend on Dave's actions. A strong story-line featuring a comical look at our humanity and is it worth saving. It will be hard to stay put in your seat watching Alien Abduction - You just might crack a rib from all the laughter- I give it two thumbs up! Inspiring and fun to watch :)

This could be a funny flick. The things that bug me are the effects, if there was better makeup on the alien, and maybe some better cinematography, it could be a winner. Comedy is a tough genera, but this is a good start, I'd be interested in seeing the whole thing.

Didnt do much for me. I like the idea behind the story, but the trailer didnt do a good job at showing me more from both the characters or the spacial settings in which this movie would take place. All i saw was 1 set (int-room) and that (in my opinion) as a trailer is a very limiting presentation for the potential of a project.

I've felt an affinity for this project from the beginining. I have narcolepsy and often hallucinate at night. The visions I see remind me alot of Peter New. Patrick Gilmore is so funny in all the performances I've seen him in. I only wish he was fatter.

I really like the premise, and I'm looking forward to seeing the film. I do appreciate the whimsical, clownish appearance of the alien, although IMHO, the makeup needs a bit of prosthesis work to make it look just a tiny bit.. well - alien. Otherwise, I have trouble with suspending disbelief that this being is from another world. Sorta deflates the punchline for me.

Okay, I'll admit the only reason I clicked on the link for this project while choosing which ones to rate is the "WTF?" factor of a guy who looks like he's straight out of Cirque Du Soleil tied up in a chair. But after I saw the trailer I thought, "What a nice surprise! That looks funny!" Now I'd really like to see this project. The humor is dark and snarky, just the way I like it. Also kudos for twisting the tired old "alien abduction" theme up nice. Good luck guys!

I didn't know what to expect when I started this trailer. I thought it was going to be some cheesy low-budget horror, but was surprised to have that turned on its head when you guys when the route of comedy. If you guys don't win, I'd love to see this in the future in one form or another.

Concept is hilarious but the alien really needs to look a little better; not to convince me, but to convince Dave. A slapstick comedy can get away unbelievable effects, but no movie can get away with unbelievable people. I have to believe that Dave believes the alien could be real, so it needs to be just a little better than what it is.

it has potential to be a great comedy, with the right crew, but you have to reinvent the aliens costume cuz that was really sad to look at! if it was meant to be funny..it was not! just made it look cheap and unbelievable. that being said i still wouldn't buy a ticket. story good but put together poorly. don't give up tho idea solid.

The poophole view tops a shot from "My Name is Earl." It was an "inside the nostril looking out" view, complete with a booger stuck on a nose hair. Add hair around your poophole. I would pay to see this movie.

As a comic concept, I think this film is really solid. It's unique and interesting, but for the scope of this contest I feel it's imagination was too big. The production value required to pull off a film like this is massive, and at this point the film just doesn't have it. Maybe the intention was to have the alien be campy to add to the comedy, but I don't feel it worked.

Funny, could be an interesting movie. As for the trailer. The second time we saw the beer pouring it kinda slowed it down too much. The anus may have been a bit far but was still funny. Need a different alien costume :p decent job guys
